The Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority (SMHA) will accept applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program Waiting List beginning July 10, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. through July 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
All applications must be submitted online through the Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority website.
How to Apply
- Log on to www.starkmha.org.
- Click Apply for Housing at the top of the page.
- Click Apply for Housing again from the main page.
- Select Applicant Login.
- Log in or create a new account.
- Complete all required application questions.
- Select Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (S8HCV) from the available waiting lists.
- Save, continue, and submit your application.
Submission of an application does not guarantee eligibility or immediate housing assistance. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list in accordance with SMHA policies and applicable HUD regulations.
The HCVP waiting list will remain open for the following preferences: Public Housing, Natural Disaster, Mainstream Vouchers, FUP and conversion of assistance.
